Facebook in Starcraft 2?
If they do this, I most definitely will not get the game...

Re: Facebook in Starcraft 2?
Oh dear, please tell me this is a lie?
- after a more thorough read of the article: So far it doesn't seem so bad, and while it will come with the game it says you have to opt-in to use it. Not sure if that means clicking on something extra during install or the options menu, paying some kind of extra fee to activate it (this last option would almost guarantee no one using it)

So you're saying the article is either intentionally or unintentionally inaccurate?

Re: Facebook in Starcraft 2?
No I'm just speaking from experience with Facebook. They automatically opt you-in to their partner program and you have to manually block all applications that are from partners to stop it.
Every couple weeks they have a massive privacy cock-up, just check news sites for them...

Re: Facebook in Starcraft 2?
I've been dealing with that. I make the adjustments everytime. Merely annoying to me. At anyrate, the apps for the games seem to need an act of volition to be activated, so at least in this case (until proven otherwise) it shouldn't be a problem.
