How do I kill Ochre Jellies without having them multiply? I started with 2 and now I've got about a dozen, with no end in sight...

Don't you have to use ice or fire on them?
I cannot remember, but I thought conventional weapons was the no-no... By the way...I like the log-in name!  Derived from one of my favorite movies...

I use acid storm to kill the stupid jelly. and Larry is right, conventional weapons is a no-no on jelly. Fire are useful too. You should read the message panel when you are in battle with the jelly, it will tell you that jelly is unharmed by what ever weapon you are using. Frequent checking of the message panel should be able to give you some tips.
