Like I just posted to another thread, I love the fact that we get such a huge variety of topics here, serious and silly and everything in between. If you dislike political/serious deiscussions, simply stay away from those threads! It's not like that is such a hard thing to do right? Similarly, some people dislike chit-chat and spam, and they would know better than to click on a thread called "Bunny"
LOL! Yes, I had a quick peek at that one and got out fast! 'Silly' is fine in small doses but not in one huge guzzle!! I guess the same is true of 'serious' for other people.

Ah, come on Miss Fljotsdale, can't we at least have a scrap with John D. forum Please, Pretty Please, pretty please with sugar on top. (John D. attempts to pull out his best Five year-old pout, eyes well up, sticks lower lip out past his nose, shifts nervously from one foot to the other.)

I have no problems with the serious discussion staying in GD, but then I would ask that the Polls forum be revamped and the full discussions held in GD, while polls be POLLS (serious or silly). Otherwise you have two places with similar things going on and definite probability of duplicate themes as well. Of course if Polls just isn't working for some reason, maybe we should re-think that too.
Just my two cents worth.
