Just testing out my new one...going to be using it in General Discussions. (Don't worry, I won't litter up W&W with it!)

Okay, I haven't tried any of this stuff before, so I'm trying to figure out the signature bit, and advertise for the archive. So... where do you all get your pictures from (the non W&W ones)? Do you make them yourselves? How do you figure out how big it will be when it shows up on the forum?

To add to what I just wrote, I asked about the image size because I've stopped by the general discussions page to enter the "how many women" poll, and I've noticed that while most folks there have a picture in their signature, sometimes the pictures are most annoyingly large, where you find yourself scrolling over more quantity of picture than of actual written post. What's a good size?

Alicat: anything over 580 wide by 200 high is too large. You gotta consider the ones who are still browsing at 640 x 480.

Saz,
What about Adam Warlock's latest sig? How big is that, roughly? And did you make your own picture on that new sig? AliCat |

Alicat: Haven't seen Adam's sig yet. And yes, I did do both the barbarian and the lettering. The original barb is much bigger; that's as small as I could get him and keep some semblance of the quality.
