Yep, layed off, I have one month notice.

I feel part depressed and part happy because I hate that job and I hope this will get my motivated enough to start look for a new one... which I've been meaning to do for a long time now.
the depressed part is just asking the question 'why me...?'

I'm sorry for the depressed part.

But happy for the happy part
Good luck finding a new and more interesting job!

This thread makes me feel part happy, and part sad, happy because you've escaped a job that you hated and might now find a better job that you enjoy more, sad because you've lost your job, and even if you hated it it WAS paying the bills...

That happened to a friend of mine... he found a job shortly after that he did like, and made more money.

Here's to ya, and wishing you well!

I hope you find a new job soon. It would be pretty cool if you could find a new job right off the bat you would be getting paid from both jobs for the same month. Good Luck!!
