can you cast other spells when armed with Mordekaninen`s sword? If not then its not what I need, I want a summons to keep the "people of evil intent" occupied while my Sorcerer is free to cast fireworks of pain +5 to all that need it

Which brings me back to which level seven summons would you reccomend? and why?

Thanks for the post Yorick, Why Djinni?

That's sword is not a weapon, it's a creature that look like a sword. It float around and attack people for you.

[/QUOTE]no, thats the BG2 Mordy. the IWD mordy summons one helluva sword into the casters hand, with which he can attack anything in sight(you dont have to get up close and personal...just run away, stop&hit and run away again). I found it most useful against a certain BIG guardian
