First, it's an action RPG via FPS. Might and Magic: Dark Messiah. I don't like shooters much--and this is as far FROM a shooter as you can get. This could be one of the best games of this year. It's kind of unseemly to speak about a yet-to-be-released game with such enthusiasm, but if ever a games journalist should be trusted for his earnestness, this is that very case. Check out the demo, and enjoy. Requires a good system.

And next, which WILL be game of the year 2006, or RPG of the year is.....

Bio Shock (Made by the folks that made Thief and System Shock series!)
A "spiritual successor" to System Shock 2!

DM is coming out this month... you can pre-order it on steam now. It looks like it's going to be a very cool game, can't wait for some indepth reviews.

Yes, I've been waiting for that one too! I was disappointed with Heroes5. I only played the demo, but that's all I needed. I hope they do better with D.M.

I saw a preview of Bioshock - it looks incredible. Sadly my system is badly in need of an upgrade that I can't justify right now.
