I was going through reading some of the past polls and got an Idea.

Why not ask everyone what there most difficult things they went through in the game.

Mine may be the most embarrassing

I was stuck and couldn't get into the crypt I couldn't find the lever when I did get in I couldn't find how to get past the statue of the Angel. It took me about a month to find the lever and another month to find the way past the statue.

Wait I forgot I also got stuck in the area where you go down the broken steps. I didn't have a rogue only 1 warrior. well I got the bauble stick and the crystal but I didn't know what do with the crystal that took me a week. then the button trick with the elevator. It took me about two weeks. It took me about 3 months to finish that one level.

Pretty embarrassing

So you can all laugh at me.

hope you post.

by the way the only reason I got out of there was I bought a strategy guide for it.

But I lost it after that level so I was on my own for the rest of the game but when I got out of the crypt I was at level 20 so the rest of the game was pretty easy.

The most difficult part for me? Well....

First game around it was the serpent temple, 'cause I wasn't smart enough to get 4th level vine and Cure Poison. After that, it was the Amazoni bloodhounds near Shurugeon Castle. One game they trailed me all the way to the back door of DragonSpire before they caught up with me. Unfortunately, they weren't the only ones.... but we lived to the next battle.

Great Thread!

So many people have had problems with that crypt lever, I've lost track of how many times that particular problem has been answered on this forum. I think the broken stairs gave everyone fits until they finally figured out the crystal was the key to an elevator (and that's so obvious - NOT)!
Lilies has to be a favorite in this catagory. The first time you meet them is tougher than when you finally meet Cet, strange but true!
A ton of folks have been stuck with those trolleys as well but have lived to enjoy the memory!

So what was my most difficult task?
Probably getting those dratted trolley lines to go where I wanted them to go. Okay, flipping levers isn't all that difficult but getting around in those mines to the levers was tedious!
Runner up, riding elevators without someone taking damage! lol!!!

(not to mention climbing DOWN ladders!) >splat<

Well I rember Another problem I had

I couldn't hold my breathe underwater long enough for the sunken city.
took me a while before i figured out that you could get gear for that. Then I fixed that problem when I got the iron lung trait I love that.

Well there was also Earsthmedor, I picked a fight with him and found out that the vampire ability is good, but he has death strike and killed me with one darn hit. I hated that went back and killed him.

Also Oakimer first time we fought it took forever I had to keep running away and then I found out If I lured him in the water locust swarm wouldn't work.

I had no more problems that I remeber.

I guess I lucked out the stout mines were no promblem for me.
oh wait I forgot I killed them instead of going throught the mines the first time. good experince for a group battle.

killing xydussa 1st time through game. my party kept dying but i kept acquiring new tactics to defeat her! Elyissa was easier than Xydussa imo. when i went 2nd time through game (same charc.) it wasn't nearly as hard.

Playing this game on win2k when you canīt cast a spell, use/give items, talk to NPCs, kill enemies and generally walk around in the Serran without that damned windows sending you straight to the desktop! At least those problems are now solved but letīs just say it was a taaad frustrating, lol.
