I know I can buy underwater helms from the shipyard, but I was only able to buy 1 and they sold out. Where can I find more?

You need to kill crabs and bring the shells to the shipyard. He will make the equipment you need and you can buy more! Mark |

I think you get 2 breathers and 1 mask for every 3 crab shells you bring in. Why you get 2 breathers and only 1 mask, I don't know.

Its 3 pieces per 3 shells (you have to bring groups of 3). It can be any combo of 3 masks/tanks, randomly. Luckily, I got them in fairly equal numbers, no 20 masks and one tank or anything.

You can get more frequent shells from stealing them from the crabs as opposed to just killing them.If you have to choose between breather and helm go helm.The helm works somewhat without breather and is armor where as the breather does nothing on it's own.

I don't envy you, as I just spent 4-5 hours swimming underwater, looking for crabs. I ended up saving the game every time I saw a crab, so I could reload if it didn't give me a shell. Also, I saved just before I handed in the 3 shells, so I could get the needed combo of 2 and 1 underwater device.
I hope the scuba gear is never needed after the underwater city, as I sold it! |
