G'day one and all
Just started this game and of course i need a few tips.

I gave my Palladin and Ranger -2 to their intelligence when creating the characters. Is this going to be a big problem? when the time comes for gaining extra ability points should I increase this or some other ability?

The game interface seems real clunky and well ... erm...crap! Is there a mod out there to help? I know interfaces take time to get used to, but I liked NWN, IWD and BG from the start. Any one else think its a bit poor?

No intelligence is not important for paladin and ranger... spend ability score points on something more important...

I actually liked the interface.. you can set up the icons the way you want by right-clicking on them

Unless you have a rogue in the party you can really go with the lack of extra points with a ranger.
And trust me, yu'll not only get used to the interface, you'll love it.

Wellard,

1. I think that most people prefer the IWD2 interface to the original BG1/2/IWD1 style interface.

2. It's no big deal to have an INT 8 for a pally, but I think that you'll find that rangers are hurt by having a low INT. Good rangers are rather dependent on their skills (i.e. Hide, Move Silently, Search, Wilderness Lore, etc.).
