yesterday when i was on my way to the postoffice, i bumped into a billboard that said there's a weedfair in my hometown in may. Now, i know in holland is almost anything possible, but this is getting crazier every day. Are there any other countries that would allow stuff like this to take place ?

Weed fair? Nope never heard of anything like that here. Are you sure that wasn't some sort of joke?

We have tomato fairs, watermelon fests, blueberry fests, etc.

seems silly, but say you have a county that produces alot of watermelons....then during harvest season, they hold a watermelon fest, to celebrate..it is fun, although rather silly

Oh you should've specified which weed you were talking about? In Georgia we have a watermelon fair too, and there is an arts and crafts fair down here in GTMO.

Now I have never heard of a weed fair. It must be a joke. Just like RedBlueFlare was saying.

They have a similar sort of festival in London every so often - strictly illegal of course, but the police tend to ignore it.

Why would it be a joke just because it isn't allowed where you live?
I don't think it's a joke at all.
