Heh... Not unlike movie reviewers. They often seem to like only 'artsy' movies and ignore the entertainment factor. I go to a movie (or play a game) to be entertained. Dissecting them only defeats the whole purpose. Okay, so the game crashes occasionally, has a few odd glitches, takes awhile to complete all the quests. So? I don't want a game I can whip through and use a bunch of cheat codes so I can be in god mode and stand there and duke it out the with biggest baddest guys without a scratch. I take reviews with a grain of salt and make my own determinations. Too bad the whole thing reeks of 'pc'.

Hey Frosty,

I know what you mean by the "fright" now and then - I remember tearing back up the circular ramps to get into the Serpent Temple, flew round one corner and wore a pouncing Giant Spider in the face. Then there is the "creeping through Ishad forest watching your back and trying to see the Amazonii before they see you" feeling. All in all some pretty good atmosphere.

Cheers
Davros

heheheh, Davros!

Yep, and I remember when I was first down in the Abandoned mines...about 6 miners ambushed me and began pelting their Miner's Bombs...I ducked and shrieked, and then began laughing at myself so hard I had to pause the game to run to the bathroom.
