The last couple of weeks, i have been bombarded with some stupid virus called "Backdoor.sdb" or something, i've deleted it (several times) and i'm not getting it anymore, but i just think that people who make things like that are the worlds greatest ¤&"&#/&#%/(#!
My question is: do any of you know what "Backdoor.sdb" does? I've heard it allows hackers to enter your computer, but i'm not sure if that's true or not.

It's a (newish) Trojan. Here is some information. If you need more, just type backdoor+virus into Google.

Do you know how many viruses and trojans there are named backdoor? Cant isolate which one, but a search of the mcaffe virus library for backdoor.sdb dosnet turn up anything.
With a name like backdoor, it probably does allow hackers (or more likely, script kiddies) into your computer, but only if you let it install itself. You can look for more info here: http://vil.nai.com/vil/default.asp But as I said, backdoor is too common to be much good in a search.

I bow to Andrewas's superior knowledge in these areas. One thing my brief researches have turned up is that the .sdp extension seems to be used in various Linux OSs.
