Securom runs in a low level way that is often thought of as a virus.
It basically spies on you and the way it works is often seen as intrusive which is why no one likes it. |

Well, over the course of the last couple of weeks, I've come to understand that. It's a shame when one piece of software can tell you what other software you can have on your computer, if you want to install the software it's supposed to protect. SecuROM is exactly that way, too, from what I've been reading.
