Damn. I was just in a Barnes and Noble bookshop and suddenly started missing all my books in Australia. Bummer

I perused through art, history, fiction, photographic books about Manhattan, Pug dogs and other assorted images. Found some little philosophical 'pocket books'.

I love books.

Me too!!!!!!!
Awww, I can't imagine being separated from my books - I would have taken them all with me or stayed at home
Anyway you saw Seb's and my collection, and I have bought a cartload of new ones since then, so you will know I'm not lying

Hop over to the books forum if you want. It's kind of empty in there... *voice echoes of distant bookshelves*

I can't stand going anywhere farther than the nearest town without a book, or two, and even THAT is torture, I need my books, hmmm..... That reminds me, I've got to go buy myself some more.

No. You can't spend what you don't have.

Or what you won't have if you do spend.

One thing about travelling light for so long is that I only prioritise essentials that won't weigh me down. Today reminded me of a different mindset I had.

I started thinking about ways to get them over here though.

Mel, I know you're not lying you bookworm you. Your collection made me green with envy

I'd love to be bilingual to the point you and Moiraine are. Such a world of opportunity. Music, visual art, dance and film transcends the language barrier, but poetry and prose are reliant upon understanding the point of reference.

It must be wonderful to 'swim in both pools' as it were.
