Default Hard Drive question

Hello!!
I got an old Android media player, it plugs nicely into the TV, it's a pain plugging the lasso top into it to watch films see photos etc. I'm thinking some sort of hard drive to keep plugged into it is the answer, But what type there seem to be several, external, portable, I Dont think an internal would be right. What would you all suggest? Also what would be a sensible size to go for?
Cheers.

Many of my friends and I use the Western Digital 'Passport' USB external HD.. no power cord needed, and its cheap! get a 500gig drive cheap!

Check newegg.com and type in Western Digital Passport for a range of sizes and prices.. heck, even 1 Terabyte may be cheap now!
