Rikard is correct. BGI is not made to accept the transfer. The game is of progression, not regression.

Once i got a character of the web for BG1 from BG2. It worked. You don't keep the wapons from BG2 though. They disapeer.

Check out some sites - they should have the things you require: They make some classes that should've been in BG2 but made it back to BG1 anyway
