A little foul language always brings in more onlookers.

It’s impossible to lay the honor of creating the Tea Party movement at the feet of just one person, but there were a few seminal figures who help start the movement back in January of 2009. One such “founder” is Karl Denninger, who used his website Market-Ticker.org to promote the very first Tea Party event. Ironically, he’s now using the same means to call out the very movement he started. In a post titled “To The Tea Party: Go Screw Yourself” Denniger rails on those he feels have co-opted the Tea Party moniker, specifically calling out “Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Bob Barr, and douchebag groups such as the “Tea Party Patriots.”

Apparently it's acceptable now for some Teabaggers to attack and "arrest" dissenters who dare visit their rallies, though. You'll probably dismiss it as mild, inconsequential or cite examples of extremist left violence, or (knowing some of you) trying to rationalize this to make you feel better, but all in all you have to admit that this is a new low.

It seems to me, as I recall, that the Tea Party movement grew out of libertarianism being preached by certain center-leaning Republicans who were independent of thought but would not break from the party. Namely: Ron Paul. So, the fact that the Republican party would turn around and try to embrace and engulf and consume the popular movement is not unexpected.

But, what is funny is watching all these Republicans who voted for the biggest budget increases ever to fund an illegal war, stuff companies like Halliburton full of pork, and then bail out the biggest financial criminals in history turn around do a 180 and find religion in campaigning on a balanced budget. It's sickening to see my fellow Americans be stupid enough to fall for this ruse.

Problem is, there is enough of thess idiots who are ahead in the polls to actually crack the establishment, and create a 3rd party of political knuckleheads in D.C., and they will be a true party of "NO".
