Too bad it doesn't let you have a reasonably sized party. I guess i could have a roll-off of my own to pick which ones i dismiss...but if i'm rolling that, i might as well roll the class and race myself, too. Which i did a few times, and had some fun at it.

1. Burly (2) Female Faerie Lord

2. Kindly (2) Female Dwarf Fighter

3. Loner (2) Female Faerie Valkyrie

4. Intellectual (2) Female Lizardman Alchemist

5. Chaotic (1) Male Hobbit Rogue

6. Aggressive (1) Male Faerie Lord

What about trying this?

Apart from the hobbit and the dwarf it looks quite a hard party. Double faerie lords and faerie valkyrie would take down CC.

great thought horpner!

you think that's bad, dplax, look what i got (first try)

1. Laidback (2) Male Lizardman Mage

2. Laidback (1) Female Elf Mage

3. Kindly (2) Female Elf Mage

4. Cunning (2) Male Gnome Monk

5. Chaotic (2) Female Dracon Bard

6. Eccentric (1) Female Human Mage

4 mages!!

the random generator i set up in excel has tick boxes for each race and class, and i included a certain number of "empty" slots so that the party size is random too... i've also limited the top end since i like small parties - it generally comes up with 3-5 characters.

i dont know java, but similar features would make it much more flexible for everyone. i'd love to see a v2, horpner! cheers.

Here's my first cast:

1. Eccentric (2) Female Dwarf Bard

2. Intellectual (2) Male Dracon Bard

3. Kindly (2) Male Dwarf Gadgeteer

4. Chaotic (2) Male Dwarf Priest

5. Aggressive (2) Female Gnome Ranger

6. Intellectual (1) Male Faerie Ninja

Two Bards, a Ranger and a Gadgeteer? With a Faerie Ninja and Dwarf Priest? This party seems weird but kind of fun. Missing wizardry, but looks playable. Would be interesting to try it. Not sure if I would like to hear a Dracon sing!

It's a quite reasonable party, but I wonder if the Dwarf Valk will have any problems wearing a skirt.

1. Chaotic (2) Female Faerie Rogue

2. Kindly (1) Female Faerie Bishop

3. Eccentric (1) Male Rawulf Bard

4. Intellectual (1) Male Faerie Priest

5. Cunning (2) Female Dracon Bishop

Target:

Apart from the faerie rogue and the dracon bishop the party looks quite good, and I think it would even be playable, with each of the bishops focusing on 2 spellbooks each, although the 3 faeries might make carry capacity problems.
