The proprietor asks that you follow a few simple guidelines: this is a real conversation zone, not a role-play zone* no flaming; if you disagree with a viewpoint expressed by any patron, please do so in a civil manner * any topic is fair game, but keep posts to the standards that Ziroc has set for the entire forum, please (ie: foul language is not appropriate and things should be suitable for all audiences) -a side note from Cloudy: I see this as a place for those short conversations about a new baby or the latest soccer fiasco, not for things that are big enough to warrant their own threads, by all means give those things the space they need and post separately! * Please, no one word or smiley posts (Ziroc has declared them 'real spam' and the proprietor doesn't want the reputuation of "good spam" to suffer!) * do feel free to be serious or silly and enjoy the company of others while you are here. By all means POST if you have something to say, even to start another topic , we can handle multiple chats, we're a CAFE!!! But be courteous and don't disrupt a conversation just to disrupt it. Come on in! The bar is stocked with coffees, teas, juices and waters from around the world. And purple napkins, of course! The lighting is low, the golden oak counters and tables glow with inviting warmth. Near the window, the lighting is brighter, as comfy, plush leather armchairs wait for those who'd like to read a book while relaxing to music or just lazily watch the world go by.

*strolls in with the cup of hot chocolate from previous cafe*
This is really good Miss Cloudy! My compliments to you. Anyone else not ready for winter? I'm sure not. I'm not looking forward to the snow, especially the driving in it part. I'm sure some people (our Canadian friends) are having that fun right now. I certainly could do without it, however. But I guess that is the peril of living in a northern state.

It's far too hot to have hot chocolate here. I think I'll just settle for a Vanilla Coke.

It's almost summer down in Australia, isn't it?! Well it's pretty cold here in the Northern part of the East coast of the US. Still have snow on my lawn from a little storm a few days ago. YUK!

It never snows in Sydney which is disappointing because I've only experienced snow two times before, and it wasn't in Australia |

I should send you some of mine, then!
I'm off to bed, it's late and I need to get up in about 6 hours!

Winter has 100% arrived here. Last year we had the worst minus grades ever. -32C, I tell you, trying to walk a mile froze your legs so badly you couldn´t make one step.
Not to mention the frozen pipes.

I know I've been on and off here on IW recently, but truth be told I've had no idea whats been going on recently. It's only when I looked back now that I see whats been going on.
First the huge amount of spam threads that littered the forums and the disrespect directed towards the mods and Z. Spam is fun in moderation, that has always been ther unwritten rule, when you break that rule it begins to grow tedious for many members, including myself. In the chat room feel free to spam away for we are away from the rules and regulations of the forum, but while we are here, we've got to watch the spam. Some of us learnt that the hard way. Just a general comment to not push the limits because there will be consequences. Take it from someone who's been there, when you begin to think "Have I gone too far" thats when you have. My general two cents in regards to everything thats been going on. BTW-When Saz regain his mod position? |

Saz won´t regain his mod position in the GD I think. He requested to leave his position. He still mods 5 other boards though AND luckily he´s still around in here.
