Neither, unless the glass is in a vacuum than maybe it could be empty. Unless you are a weird twisted freak with a philosophy major and considers debating if nothing is actually something.

Sometimes....peoples brains are in a vacuum.

I noticed "I hope fire ants eat your eyelids." wasn't an option, so I couldn't vote.

So, here is your definitive answer.

Half of the glass is made of glass. So is the other half.
It's neither full, nor empty, it just is. And that, my friends, is the beauty of the heated sand.

What is this talk about halves then, I ask in your stead. Think of it like this. Two halves make a whole. Is a hole empty?
Now before you answer this, think on how much sand a 1 meter deep hole contains. That's right. None at all. We can pour sand into it though, so it is not full. However, the hole is not empty either. For if it were, where would it be? All we'd have was sand in the ground.

From which we can conclude there is always ground in the ground, no matter what can or can't be empty.

Q.E.D.

So, next time someone asks you 'Can a can be half empty?', tell them it's all in the centre.

Disclaimer: If this post made you go 'huh?', don't blame the author. You are simply not ready to see the truth yet. The first step on the path to enlightenment is clicking the link in the sig.

Very witty coz . And quite amusing, in an abstract sort of way. Scarierly, I actually understood what you were saying... except, two halves make a whole, not a hole, unless, of course, it is two halves of a hole, in which case, that is a totally different matter, well, perhaps not, but somewhat different.
