I chose Ravenwolf coz it's a simplified spelling of my name. Bet you guys don't believe my real name is Raevanwulf do you? What can I say, I love it, but I tend to drop the 'wulf' bit most of the time. I guess I have a long family history of paganism to thank for it *vbg*

No, no sleep for me. The only thing close to beer or a sleeping pill I've got 'round here is a wall, and it's already starting to develop cracks from last time. I'm going to suffer at work tomorrow. Today. Ah, whatever.

I just read Charlies post. Man! I don't know what to say other than your story - that small window you opened is a bit of inspiration. I wish you all the best in the ongoing struggle and hope to God your 'pit' (the dark place each of us go through at some stage) is well and truly behind you. It greives me to hear of your loss and even though it's via a blue screen and though I don't even know you, I empathise with you brother and wish you well.

God bless

Hugh (Yorick)

Something ladyzekke said on another post made me think up this poll: why did you choose the board nickname you chose?

Memnoch is from a character in the Anne Rice novel Memnoch the Devil. I'm a huge fan of Anne Rice, and I was originally going to use Lestat as my callsign, but after the movie Interview with the Vampire everyone knows that name. So, I decided to be a bit different, plus I really enjoyed the book. Memnoch's a fallen angel.

I've reserved the name Memnoch at the BGDungeon and about half a dozen other forums!

Multiple...
Is the proxy (Planescape-ish Avatar, basically) of the God of spices. Yeah, you heard right.
He's more than a little barmy.

Bahamut. Lots of fairy tales behind it. I was playing Final Fantasy 7, and I got fond of the name Bahamut next to Aeris. hehe As far as I know, it is hard to find stuff on the net. Bahamut is the head huncho of the dragons. No mortal can look at its splendor and beauty. They are to be blind if they do so. The lower ranked are Tiamat and... shit! Forgot. Oh well... It is a rarely used name, so I have no prob...
