Remember the control circlets from Mind Flayer's Cave in Underdark? I save two of these circlets and put in my bag of holding. Then I discovered that I can still use these items, even in ToB! And so, I decided to give it a shot. First, I charmed the inn keeper in Saradush!? Then the thief guy!? Then I decided to try something more challenging. Yaga-Shura! He's charmed and I gain his control, you saw two hammers in his control panel and he has one special ability:charm animal, well whatever after a few minutes "Yaga-Shura Guards" slayed him. Too bad I could not find the time to hit him. He's dead so easily. So I miss all the fun and re-loaded, killed on my own. Next time I like to try this thing on dragons. These circlets can charm anything?

Yes, the control cirlets will work on anything, as long as that thing fails its saving throw. Do the control circlets allow a saving throw? hmmm....no, they don't have a saving throw. The Staff of Command will work on anything, also. The only way to avoid these items is to be immune to the effect "charm".
