Who is your favorite bad guy in all of Computer Role-Playing history?

Werdna? Irenicus?

I personally love Irenicus. He's so degrading. "Silence child, allow the fool to make his judgement" and "What is this? You have released all of my test subjects? How wonderfully mad of you..." are certain phrases that readily spring to mind

I'd say Magus, from the super-nes console RPG Chrono Trigger.
Primarily because for the first half of the game he is a super evil villain, but later on you can let him join your party and then he turns out not so bad at all. I like that little twist. A bit like they did with Sarevok in ToB.

Got the coolest look of all the characters in the game, his sprite anyway, his portrait sucks, and the coolest theme music as well

He's also the strongest person that can join your party, or at least he is in my opinion [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I think Sarevok is alot cooler then Irenicus, I had a hard time seeing him as an evil super genius. He was just a plain loser.

Anthranxus from Curse of the Azure Bonds. If you've read the book then played the game he's as mean as they get.

I liked Irenicus, but then again, I love David Warner who did his voice. I tend to watch what actors do in computer games... they do get around and it is an easy gig for dough, ya know!

IM gonna have to agree sephiroth was the man, once a buddy then turned enemy, made the game very worthwhile
