I want to disable a Windows XP feature...

I am tired of looking for it. How do I turn off or at least lengthen the amount of time it takes for those stupid suggestion boxes to pop up when I scroll over an item? I mean, when my cursor passes over an item, it immediately explains that item in a balloon window. It would be alright if it would not happen at 1 second time relay!

That feature is somewhere in the controll pannels I think it might be under display or even mouse options... most likely the GUI settings...

Thanks. That is what I thought, and have already looked there...but did not find any option to enable or disable this feature.

hmmm I will ask my husband when he wakes up in morning, if no one has helped you by then, he disabled ours somehow
