I'm a tailor/enchanter, about 150-ish in each currently. Tailoring is a nice supplement for my limited armor capability (I'm a priest), especially when I get into the 200's and can make myself stuff like the Robe of Power. Enchanting is good for making friends [img]smile.gif[/img] . Of course, enchanting also provides a lot of help to myself and my group, and I'm looking forward to higher level enchants.
What kind of Professions do you do, and how helpful are they? I have a friend who is getting the game, but he doesn't want to take the same as me and is looking for advice. |

I have mining/engineering, mainly for goblin jumper cables and thorium bullets/arrows. Around 200 mining/240 engineering.
But I have a lot of alts so I have at least one of every profession.

I have skinning (300) and mining (247). I make lots of gold from the skinning. I might switch mining to enchanting one day.

As a priest, at the 240 level in tailoring, you will have lots of nice gear. I'm a Warlock, and it's a +spirit +int gear, so it's not very good for me, but for you the early mageweave gear will be great.
I've let enchanting fall. I should just get a cheap bracer and enchant the crap out of it. But, that's getting more expensive all the time.

I took skinning and mining.. to get my coins up... then dropped mining for leatherworks...
