Kaltia, you're not missing anything by skipping Halloween. It doesn't make any sense as a holiday, especially in the modern world. Besides, with the crazies that are out there it is always better to simply have a small get-together with friends than trying to get out.

Mmm...thanks, Azred I'll just content myself with looking evilly at trick or treaters until they run away.... it's the small things in life. Well, I'm off to play BG2...my f/m/t is romancing Viccy and Kelsey is romancing Immy...sweet, she's got a boyfriend!

I believe you, dear Kaltia. I alwaysbelieve teenagers, even when I was one. Besides, I checked Hallowe'en is a big deal at our house. We all dress up, and welcome trick-or-treaters in character. We also do a big yard display with a fake graveyard, a witch crashing into a tree, and transfers on the four big front windows of a wich, cat, Frankenstein's monster, and wolfman. A CD of spooky music and sounds plays. Last year, I was a wizard, Galadria was Imoen the thief (black hooded costume and boots, complete with dagger), Piestrider was some sort of hooded horror (part of the time he stood outside like a figure, and "came to life" when the trick-or-treaters arrived. Scared the crap out of some of them.

lol, sounds fun
Nope, the most halloween-ish thing we've ever done is got a pumpkin soft toy from burger King...so, nah, not into All hallow's Eve ourselves Maybe it has something to do with faith?

Well, we are Christian at our house, but some of our fellow-Christians would like to ban Hallowe'en alltogether as Satanic. That's one of the reasons that we do it, not some Fall Festival. But, we do have a lot of fun with it.
