Though he did miss a lot of other major genres that at least here in the Netherlands are "bigger" than bluegrass.

Bluegrass preceded Country by a long shot... it's quite different from today's "country", which is actually a type of pop music.
I admit I forgot quite a few... blues, doo wop, soul, gospel, stuff like that. Sorry if I forgot you favorite type of music, I just put the stuff that popped into my head first.
