Is there a list anywhere containing info on the skills you gain at a certain guild level?
For example, is it worth it for my Priest/Warlock to join the Mages Guild? And to spend all that time going back to old locations? Or are there very few skills you really need (like Blacksmith/Forge, if you already have one character who can repair items, why bother with another)? Would I gain much from turning a Priest gone monk into a samurai in order to join the Warriors guild? Where can I find additional information on this? Thanx, LabRat |

You don't have to make the switch to join the guild. You can take join as soon as you take the quest, then cancel. So you can have all of the party being members of all guilds getting all quests. The only problem with this is that one taers ones hair out and retreats to the garden if one has to listen to the famous Sebastio speech on killing Mabba Mabbig 6 times.
You do gain from having all people in all guilds. For example, Ironmight is 10% extra weapon damage, and can be trained at armory from abot guild level 5. Healer is a temple trait worth having. Crusade is excellent when you get to skull castle because your character fairly zooms along at double experience (but need not only temple guild 4 or 5 , but also is paladin specific. |

Davros -
What an excellent tip - that you can take on a quest to change to another class allowing you to join other guilds and then cancel before actually making the change!! Wish I had known that before!! My next game, my party is making our own quest - to take out Sebastio and replace him with a mime!! Wyv |

Hi Wyv,
I am in Skull castle now (which is why I only answer threads up to here). Have not been playing much lately, with some increased work commitments, a lot of letter writing, and trying to get through Robert Jordan's latest. One benefit though is that my daily penpal Lily has almost caught me back up - hopefully we will join forces again shortly in the search for Mabba. I am afraid to go back and hear what he has to say when I kill her. I am hoping that the pawn shop guy might have some more work for a struggling assassin (ie Sebastio the walking compendium of endless sentances). |
