The fact remains, Lego really isn't what it used to be. All these custom parts and stuff, and the prices just keep growing..
BUT THIS IS AWESOME! ROFLMAO!

The good-old "too much time on hands" explanation, I think. But it is kinda funny

Nope, in case you didn't know, they sell pre-rolled doobies here. Wheter the Lego dudes rolled them or the Underpants Gnomes is all the same with me.

There's something very cute about little lego men with their inane frozen smiles and their hook-like hands being arranged so they're doing silly things

I really wish people would get over the 'too much time on their hands' response. I can't imagine that the photos took all that long to set up - 10 minutes, maybe? I'm sure everyone here isn't engaged in important productive work at all times, or they wouldn't be posting here, for one thing. They don't have 'too much time on their hands', they have free time, which they choose to spend doing something others don't find valuable.

That is so true. Lego is shit these days. I think the rot started with the pirate ship stuff - the pieces had to be strange custom shapes and they had all the parrots and treasure chests and stuff. Now it's all Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings and crap. Theme stuff and very little just houses or space or castles and stuff. You used to be able to get your set of generic lego and make whatever you wanted. Now lots of stuff you can buy you can make like one thing from it and the pieces can't be set up any other way. I saw a box a couple of years ago that was a soccer field. It had a green board, bits for goals, and some men. That is like the anti-lego - absolutely no building required
