For those that use this protection on your PC, go to configuration and update. It will be downloaded.

However, to avoid problems, before adding the new download to replace the old one, go back to config and select "remove" to remove the old version in its entirety. Then load the new one in. You'll have to reassign the ignore list.

I say this because the new version would not load with the old one already on file. It said it was trying, but it was going nowhere.

Judging by the name of it, it hi-jacks your computer. I guess that would be computer jacking?

Try this link:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

It just worked for me...

Here's the Merijn download section, too.

Alright,,,here is a page to explain what it does

http://hjt.wizardsofwebsites.com/

And here is a website where you can download it and many other things.

https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/soft6.htm

BTW..., Hijack this is an anti-hijack tool, which erases all those BHOs and things that can get in. For those that do not understand the slang of "Hijack this", and need help with it...it is American wording.

An example would be if a vampire were to be reaching down to bite your neck and you jam a gun in his mouth, you'd say..."Suck on this, Fool!". You are being sarcastic when you say that, as you actually do not want him to actually suck on the gun, you are ....

Why the hell am I telling you all this? Just download the dang thing and be happy.
