Hi ya Regin! Doing good myself. Actually, I wanted to ask you (or any fellow swedes) if you have heard of a band called The Hives. I have just bought an album of theirs - "Your New Favorite Band" and I quite like it, although it is definately a bit patchy. I was thinking of going to see them live as they are doing a gig next month in London and look like quite a laugh on stage. Any views...

This is a little off topic, but i was wondering if any of you knew of a good place for newbies like me to roleplay or to get into a rpg on the forum. I've been having trouble getting into a rpg and the last one i was in got shut down by the moderator.

Hey Barry, well 'the hives' are pretty big in Sweden (won a grammy ((nig prize in the music business)) last year for 'best newcomer') but I'm not a big fan..
I've heard of them though!
And Piestrider, if you read up on the 'waterdale city' rp, I'd think that you'd fit right in

Well, I just wondered really. Also any light to shed on the true identity of Randy Fitzwilliams? I have just been on the bands web-site to check out tour dates and they talk a lot about the confusion of who this man is (he writes all the songs but stays out of the lime-light to a ridiculous degree apparently). Any information from someone who might have heard more about them than me? It just seems a bit odd.

Theres a roleplaying forum here on IW run by Larry and Cloudbringer. I'm sure if you ask either of them they'll tell you whats going on etc. Welcome to IW

Ack, im gonna be BUSY this week! Tomorrow i have a jazz festival to go to, i leave at 7:20 AM and get back at about 6:00 to 6:30 PM... i'll try to get a recording of my band playing though [img]smile.gif[/img] . and Tuesday i have to play at another jazz band function, lasting from 4:00 PM to about 8:00 PM... then Wednesday is Youth Group, lasting from 6:00 to 9:00 PM... so, wish me luck at the first two things!

going to be hard going, but there are only 3 others in our level at the contest so we should do well... we've practiced our music for a long time...
