By the way, the Abishai only attack if someone in the party is wounded. They can't help themselves about that; it's the elemental in the altar forcing them into bloodlust. So be sure everyone is in good health before you see them.

The wizard, whose name I forget, who created the lightning machine and the temple, told us the demon's name.

Hi Cloudlet ,

I am holding out some hope that he will tell me - I have 2 games running now :
1) That game, where I am trying to ensure that I complete everything at the temple and hope that Nickedemus gives me the option of getting that answer
2) the level 8 reload and replay

I am playing half hour per each in rotation, to see which one wins through first. I am about to visit the Abishai again in my replay.

Time to finish the poem - I am in a poetic mood today

Oh freddled guntbuggly thy micturations are to me
As flurdled gabbleblochits on a lurgid bee
Groop I implore thee my foonting turlingdromes
and hooptiously drangle me with crinkly brindlewurdles
Or I will rend thee in the gobberworts with my blurglecruncheon
See if I don't

Question Mark

Good luck, Dav! I think I saved my game before questioning Nikedemus and then I checked how he answered each one. Laughed myself halway to the floor when I asked the one about getting magic things and he said he USED to have some, and couldn't figure out where they went! LOL *innocent smiles all around* Yup, my party had NO idea....well, my bard HAD borrowed a few things prior to talking with him....but ....*snicker*

The djinn on the first level also told me the demon's name. And if you speak to the abishai leader with a character with high INT or high cleric level, it comes out that the minute he mentions the demon you recognize it and know his true name.
