Okay here are some issues that bug me.
1. The spell description of Pierce Magic and Breach talk about lowering magic resistance but I never saw any of it in the feedback line or noticed a difference on my opponents 2. What can you actually do against resistance/immunity to magical damage. I find it kinda unfair if I get down my enemies MR and the following AdHWs heal him. 3. If an enemy is immune to magical damage does this include any other elemental damage (fire,cold,acid,...) inflicted by using spells (I guess no)?

1. The spell descriptions don't mention lowering resistance, it says they ignore magic resistance.
2. Well, if they have immunity to magic damage, lowering their resistance won't do anything I don't think. As for lowering their high resistance, it should work. Try casting Lower Resistance multiple times before magic can do full damage. (I suggest using a spell trigger) 3. Well, it's hard to say Faceman. Most magic damage is caused by an elemental base attack (fireball, acid arrow, etc) but I do think they are seperate. |

1. Ok, I'll admit that I overlooked the description for Pierce Magic but I knew Breach didn't do that Pierce Shield does lower magic resistance, it works well against the stronger enemies in SoA and ToB.
2. If you have to hit them physically then so be it. |

Magic Damage is used by the spells Magic Missle, Skull Trap and Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting. Acid Arrow, Fireball, Flame Arrow, etc, are not affected by magic damage resistance. Treat MDR like any elemental resistance - percent damage reduction, lowering one does not necesarily lower another. In other words, lowering MDR does not lower other elemental damage, and an enemy immune to Magic Damage is not necesarily immune to elemental damage (although they can be)
