Do you have any plans for 2004? Any promises you intend to fulfill, or is it just the same this year as the year before?
Get the Porsche mate! Last October I bought a 1981 924. Only the baby with the 2L engine, but she still goes like the clappers! Had some problems with the electrics, but sorting it as we go. Parts are cheap as well and the insurance is on classic, so all round fairly cheap motoring.

I you have a Porsche you don't need to ponder anymore; it means that you've succeeded.

I don't know about having succeeded, she is 23 years old and lived all her life so far in England. The good thing is that the model prior to her, they started galvanising the bodies, so there is very little rust. She's an on-going project, and I expect it will be a couple of years before I have the money to completely fix her up. The local garage reckons it will cost Ł1000+ to do a re-wire on her! Ouch!!

Hmmm the thing about topics like this is everyone talks and no one listens. You can post your plans but bet your life-savings on the fact that no one will read them.

My plan: finish uni, have loads of fun and then hopefully start my PhD somewhere nice

Got a few things I want to accomplish this year:

1) Get a better status in rowing (that means winning a couple of matches)
2) Passing all (or at least a lot of them) my tests for my History study.
3) Getting a job, or at least something where I can get myself some money to go on a vacation with friends.
4) Stop computering so much.
5) The same idea Ghoul has ( a couple of nights gets boring after a while)
