Thanks for clearing that up RevRuby. I was a little fuzzy about that part of the rules. I often prefer to err in the direction of overkill. (not usually a good thing, I admit)

I´ve played all of them except X-2 and XI.
The best one is VIII(8).

Don't take me seriously Firestorm, wasn't like I was angry or anything. I guess in my younger days I was depraved or the whole lot of FF games, though FF7 was the first final fantasy I ever saw out on in stores

Well, all I've played are FF7, 8, 9, and 10, and I found 7 and 8 to be the best ones, 10 got really boring really quick, and as such can't find the motivation to complete it. FF XI is supposed to popular, but you didn't want that one anyway...and as far as I know, 7 & 8 are the only PC versions out there, and I don't think they're even sold new anymore...

Since we're bragging, I'd like to say that I bought every Final Fantasy Games released for the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Game Boy and Playstation I, and starting with Final Fantasy II, I either pre-ordered them or got them on the first day of release.

As far as I know only Final Fantasy VII and VIII were released for PC. I have Final Fantasy VII but I'm not selling it.

Well I like to brag that I too was mesmerized by the way Sephy fought and so I've spend like 10 hours of my last FFVII playtime looking for a way or secrets to get permanent Shield-status, like like Sephy (well, its not shield, but he cant be touched. And so I finally got Shieldstatus on the PC version through cheating and then the entire game wasn't fun anymore!!
And I've played CLoud's story (the one with Sephy in Nibelheim offcourse) more times then I've actually finished the game; I have a seperate save for it.... And my char was called Satori at the time, which means divine flow or something so Aeris and Yuffie and Tifa really, REALLY digged him, so NYUH!!

well, I've played FF7 , FF8 , FF9 , FF10 and FF10-2. I could have played the earlier version but I just can't stand the horrible graphics. The best one I think is FF7, probably because of Shepiroth. gotta love the one wing angel theme song.

Oh yeah! Gotta love Sephiroth! One of the best "bad" guys in any games ever!
