All-You-Can-Learn for $29 a month?

Anybody ever hear of EduFire.com? When I read this CNN article it sounded interesting. Obviously the school's got no accreditation (sp?), and any shmoe can become a teacher, but if you find a subject you like it seems like a cheap way to get an introductory course. Also seems like a cheap & easy way to pick up some $$ as a teacher.

So, does it look like a flash in the pan, or the future of online education?

That's very interesting. Online education is definitely the wave of the future. My wife did all the required continuing Ed. this year for her Mental Health Counselor license online.

Well whether its accredited or not, if the classes are valid, you can CLEP the courses at a college that IS and get full credit for them.
