Serpent Temple ---- Where is the last Lock???

Hello to all of you.

Glad to join here - finally!

Now to my problem:


I nearly finished the Serpent Temple. Means: I killed the pesky Naga and the serpent Master. I took his key and unlocked the "bypassed Locked Room". Looted the chests and flipped "all?" the levers:

1. At the naga Room
2. above the fountain.
3. 4th Elevator Room (south)
4. At serpentMaster
5. in the locked room

Now i am stuck.
In the fourth elevator room, the one eith the lever in the south (got there by taking left elev. from Serp.Master)
. There my map shows STAIRS but i cant get there, since a wall sops me from getting there. There is NO Lock!!

I think there must! be one!???

I now tried 7 times, running all the ways, searching..... nothing.

Please HELP.

Forgot to tell You,....


I have read the walkthru... and there is supposed to be a lock.

At Ironworks ist says:

"take the left elevator up to the fourth elevator room (Z) and use the key on the east lock. Go east and take the stairs up. "

I suggest that it means "west" instead of east and I CAN SEE THE STAIRS. But... they are blocked by a BLACK WALL (without texture) and there is NO Lock.

PLEEEEEAAAASE Help. Perhaps you could also point out the place i need to go, by marking the spot on a map-image.

You're right. The corrected version is:

Take the left elevator up to the fourth elevator room (Z) and use the key on the west lock. Go west and take the stairs up.

Using the key on the west lock opens that blank (but not black) wall and provides immediate access to the stairs (a quick left). Here's the link to the graphics walk-through with maps.

I presume you are using Xignal's walkthru at: http://www.volberding.com/WHints/index.html ??

After you have thrown the switch in the "4th" (SW, I'm guessing) room, you have to return to the NE room and use the elevator there - did you do that??

Sorry if I haven't helped. Your description has left me a bit confuse!

...and thanks 4 the tip.
My problem is, that i cant find the lock.

I was suggesting that i had to use the serpentMasters Key not only to open the room with the chest(s) in it, but also to gain acces to the stairs. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ill now try an 8th time to find that "West Lock",.... this may take some minutes... But I havnt found it.

Also i will have a look at that NE Room and the elevator there... But I am sure I used EVERY Elevator ( I marked them with a green Flag - from the beginning On <---- Not to loose Orientation).

Ok. Here is what I did:

I cleared all the flags and started all over from the Nagas Room, reproducing? (bad Lng.) what i did since now.

I flagged every Elevator and Switch I used. Now I can definitelysay " I used every Single Elevator twice!!! ( used red and! green flags).

"But I still havnt found what iam looking for" *singing*

Where is that lock????

a) is it in the 4th elevator room(Z)

b) if it is there, where is it located. On that blank wall?
(it is black... at least my comp displayes it like this).

c) if on that wall where left / right? since it is comlpetely without
texture it may be possible, that it is kinda invisible to me.

d) is it in another room? ..... in which? and where is it located?


Please call me nuts if u like to, but iam really "pi..ed" since i got here knowing what is to do (open that wall to reach the stairs without any help and now cant go anywhere not even back to town.

I hope its the grafic-bug (black!! wall w/o textures) that traps me here.... otherwise i MUST be NUTS.
