I was in preschool in 1986. I hated it. I was always in trouble.

Why of course I remember 1986. I was a freshman at highschool and the long awaited release after Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets saved us from all the hair bands that seemed to dominate the 80's. Metallica ruled the 80's, I don't know what this crap is they release nowa days.

I'm with you on this one! 1986 = Master of Puppets and Slayer's Reign in Blood

So the big question on everybody's lips is "Is the 16 year drought about to end - can Nassar's boys pull off the shock of the century?"

Not getting many bites here Dav! The ex-aussie captain Kim Hughes is playing against England today. One of the greatest sporting moments in history was watching the tough aussie crying on TV.

To add to the 1986 topic (started with Gorbatjov seizing power in -85). Glasnost and perestrojka are two words featuring more and more in the news. Now glasnost and perestrojka are of course Hungarian for ice-cream shortage and heat wave No wonder it was the main news at the time

I'll rectify that right away matey. The reason I wasn't there earlier was that i thought the pair of you had rather quickly and adroitley put the Mersey Munchkin in his place. Still, I don't mind lending a hand in kickin him a bit

Now buddy, about those Ashes ...........

Actually I was in preschool . I remember because I was in grade 2 in the bicentennial. And since you're making fun of me, there'll be no more 1986 events imminent from me
