No problem using my pseudonym. I created the character as a Lawful Good Human Fighter dualled to a Cleric (was pretty excited about grand mastery in staves). Gray Mage is right about the human thing and Monks can't dual. BTW in the name of decency, don't have my namesake pick up any prostitutes. It wouldn't look good if you needed to post a help question in the BG2 forum and it read, "Help. How do I get Father Bronze to pick up the prostitute . . . ?" But feel free to create any character you wish. Good Luck. ------------------ Most Subtle Official Straightman of the Laughing Hyenas -- Grammarian Brigade. |

Thanks, the basic background is that he grew was an orphan, left by his mother shortly after being born at a Monastery. He learned the tenants of being a monk, but never really fit in. One day he was on his way to the town to buy supplies(which is across town) and came across this assassin who was attempting to kill this older cleric lady. He stepped in, and tried to stop the assassin, but a poisoned dart clipped the elder cleric and the assassin got away. The Monk in training found her and for some reason, put his hands over the wound and felt this surge of power come over him. He Cried out to his god, and found the god to be answering him. He had found his calling. The Elder Cleric recognized his interal power for what it was, persuaded him to visit her in the temple and to train with her. He never looked back. He could still fight with his hands as well as a mace, and still retained some of his ability to use his inner strength, but he soon found a whole new world of healing and helping people, which was his particle call in life.
Sound ok?
