Ah Memnoch - I haven't replied to this thread because I didn't want it ot deteriorate into a football 'off topic' thread but I have great delight in being in a position to correct you .

Harry Kewell is a midfield player rather than a striker and the best striker in England is undoubtedly Thierry Henry. Do I sense an ethnocentric bias in your choice?

It's nearly 4am here but I'm staying up to watch the cricket from Sri Lanka (297 all out). THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK!!. By the way, I hope you're still about when The Lions arrive.

Well I stand corrected, seeing as you're the man on the spot there Donut!

Speaking of cricket, any thoughts as to who will win the 2nd Test between Australia and India?

Memnoch - please hold my coat while I deal with this

Mark Viduka is a top striker and Kewell is one of the most exciting midfield player in the premiership. Unfortunately he has been injured this season. Leeds are seventh in a league of 20 and are in the quarter final of the champions league.

Of course neither of these two are as good as that lunatic Aussie at Manchester City - Danny Tiatto.

Shit - have I just been trolled?

Hi Donut!

I was here when the Lions came, saw and left without the Tom Richards Cup. And as for the other, out of respect for British sport, I won't mention the ...ahem. *cough* Ashes *cough*
