9/10
Missed the one about constellations. I guess I didn't spend enough time playing connect the dot with the night sky as a kid.

I got a 9/10

Missed the last question.

Quote:
I got 9/10 because the guy screwed up on question 5. Neptune is the correct answer and he says that in his description, but his little questionnaire names Pluto as the correct answer. Maybe it's just me, but I doubt it...
Neptune is not the correct answer, and I dont have a clue where you got that from.
Neptunes orbit is ~30 AUs, and durring the whole of its orbit remains fairly close to that.
Plutos orbit is ~40 AUs, and durring its orbit will go well beyond that due to its highly eliptical orbit.
This means that Plutos orbit takes it the farthest from the Sun.

[/QUOTE]10/10.

On the pluto/neptune issue. Netpune is the furthest planet from the sun for part of the time, since Pluto's orbit is highly eccentric. However, the apogee of Plutos orbit is further from the sun than Neptune's.

I got 5/10, but I have issue with question 10. There are many times in our Northern sky when the Moon appears larger than the sun ever looks. (usually when it is lower in the horizon)

Pluto's orbit is not circular, like the rest. Sometimes it is closer than Neptune, sometimes farther, but at it's farthest point, it is farther away then Neptune ever gets.

There are TEN planets. Planet 10 is Charon, beyond Pluto (more a planetoid). There may have been 11, but one is now the asteroid belt.
