I'm about to release a new version--with mainly changes to Waterdeep. The speed issues were NOT acceptable. So I removed some placeables and sound effects that were not needed at all.

Also, the Waterdeep exit will now take you to the "Trade Way". This is a long road that runs north and south on the sword coast. From there, you can enter Trollbark and there are other paths as well.

This Tradeway will be a newbie zone for low level players. We need some of those. There will be MANY areas of the Tradeway as I add more, but this waterdeep fix comes first.

This update will be ready in a few hours. Just playtesting it now.

This sounds good but how are you going to persuade newcomers to turn around and walk back through that door? I've seen too many tempted by that hole in the ground.

The shortcut to Skullport is sounding more and more like a longcut, hoist me down that rope Durnan!

After they run through Undermountain, they will end up exploring outside too.

How is that a long cut? Instead of going to the bedrooms, you go to Waterdeep, then enter the sewers--same stuff.

It's still a short cut

I don't think it's too big a problem. It's only a shortcut if you WANT to skip down to skullport so most likely if you're new, you'll have explored the well and beyond then out in Waterdeep and then you'd find the shortcut for future visits.

By talking to Durnan a rookie character can instantly gain enough experience to go to level 7.

If the Tradeway is a zone for low level characters, what do you consider low level?

Level 3-8 is low level. The first place someone should start (if they don't want to use Durnan's auto leveling script is to head to the Yawning Portal's basement. There, you can gain 2 or 3 levels alone. Also, the basement now has an exit to waterdeep as well. (Cellar door)

Never had too much in the way of speed issues myself.

Not to sound like a prick, but maybe turning down the in game settings on "lower end" machines would allow those of us with high end PC's to experience Undermountain as you invisioned?

I'm still experiencing slow loading, and I'm booted like one out of three times, and I'm not on a low end machine, *this for animal, and whack*, other than that, if I'm not on for 8 hours at a time, everything is great.
