I have HAD it with F'ing Readyhosting. They are SUCKING at hosting my other domain name (TGEWEB) so I called and got another IP added so *I* can host that website too. BUT...........
They will have to change my IP 'subnet' which means DNS will change. So we might be down a few days. 1 or 2. UGH!!!!!! Tell everyone! AND CHECK the homepage at www.tgeweb.com/index.shtml for updates and news! We'll be back, and BETTER for this small inconvenience. |

Anyone still here? I don't think we are down yet.....
The NEW IP's are: 24.173.154.114 - will be ironworks forum 24.173.154.115 - will be tgeweb.com It's going to cost an EXTRA $25 a freaking MONTH , but if I don't do this, I might as well forget about tgeweb ever getting better. Why? See below: They are 'throtteling' my bandwidth to such a point that clicking on nearly ANY link, and it gives an error, or 'Network is Busy' crap. (THIS happens EVERY time, have you seen that error too?!! Grr! Also, Email hosting from 'READYHOSTING.COM' also SUCKS. It took 20 MINUTES just to download 3 or 4 SMALL 45kb messages before it timed out 5 times!!! (Mem and Reeka KNOW about this crappy service they offer) Until I can configure the new settings for tgeweb.com, it'll stay at readyhosting. Only a few days or a week though) then man, WOW! Ironworks Webarea will be FAST again! I'm gonna make an anti-readyhosting banner too! Muhahaah! DEATH! GREED KILLS, READYHOSTING! |

I'm here. I just now made the announcement to all the forums I mod, but it was real slow in the upload.

Still here, Z. They haven't pulled the plug yet.
What some folks do with a DNS switch is to leave the old site up for a couple of days, perhaps with an informational message. That way, anyone who clicks onto the old site will get something that lets them know what's up. Don't know how well that applies, but you don't have to be down while the DNS switch takes place.
