Wow... hope they do it with Shotgun ammo this time around.

In all honesty though, when I was a kid, I wanted to do something like that. I think I was throwing the bullet on the floor for it to explode... hahahaha

we used to do something almost as bad, but there was no lead in the bullet when we did it we took the lead out of the casing, and then put the casing on a stick, then held a lighter to it, to see if it would pop. yep it did

It might have been a metal tube the aprox. shape & width of a straw.

I had a patient, once, that held a lighted match in a diesel tank to check the level, on a 105 degree (F.) day. Burned every hair off his head, and I had to do a skin graft to his nose. His father kept saying, "but diesel fuel won't explode!" I told him to tell his son's nose, it would probably get well right away.
