Do you have Office installed? If so, I believe there is an option in Win XP mouse properties that by default is selected to use Office compatible scroll.

no, office isnt on at the moment, that is another problem, the cd drive wont recognize it for some reason, even though it installed on my other comp which is weird. What would that do? The scroll does work, it just jerky. But I welcome any suggestions for a fix, this could possibly work, if I could get office to actually load on.

1st. I ended up buying Office XP, nothing else would load on my computer after I installed windows XP PRO.
2nd. I had the jittery scroll problem also for awhile then I loaded all the patches and upgrades I could find on the microsoft XP upgrade site and one of those patches fixed it to a point. It took about a month to get rid of it. I don't have dial up I'm using cable high speed internet and every once in a while I will be on a page and I will get the shakey scroll problem. Sometimes it still happens on Ironworks but only about one half of one percent as much as when it did it everywhere all the time. [ 05-12-2004, 09:35 PM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ]
