Yay or nay and should women be forced to give up years of their life and risk it also? I will gladly serve my country if im drafted but I think its sexist that women can go to college and get ahead in the job market while im forced to be cannon fodder....and yes I posted this in GD to piss azurewolf off [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

Im against conscription in general - I dont believe anyone should be forced to put their life at risk, although I would go if I was conscripted. *Is thankful theres no conscription in Scotland*

those who have to be forced to serve their country is nopt worth the time. I would volunteer. Hell, thats why I am in the military.

thought it does exist, chances of it ever being used again are quite slim, just look at all the folks who signed up after 9/11 @_@
I think that if we ever have another war it will be 100% voulentary like the good ol' Spanish American war lol... though i doubt George bush would be a good modern version of Teddy Roosevelt... ah he's not gonna last another 3 years anyway... Or maybe he will 0.o ?? hmmm... makes you wonder... |
