Hello to ASL!!!!
Not as quick as I thought, but 10 times quicker than I am used to so I'm very happy (even though it's EARLY in the morning for all this ) ------------------ |

No Fair. I'm stuck with having to sneek on other peoples computers when they're not looking. The one I'm on now (and will be for the next 3 months) has got a 33K connection speed, mmmm nice. I was on my uni's network last year, that was quick. I could download over 5 megabytes in less than a minute somedays.
Looks like your enjoying it already, I won't distract you any more. |

Oh fine, rub it in! I've been trying to get DSL for over a year. All the ISPs say that they have it in my area, but then they say 'Oh, we didn't mean YOUR house.' That's what I get for living in an old neighborhood.
Enjoy!!! ------------------ Nid yw'r hoff o lyfr yn fyr o gyfaill. |

Congrats Memnoch
I have had DSL for about 6 months now, my lease is up in 2 months and I really can't afford to live in my apartment anymore, but I am actually contemplating not moving b/c it would mean giving up my DSL, at least for a bit and I wouldn't be gauranteed to be able to get it where ever I move to ------------------ Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig |

Yay, Memnoch! So glad you're "broadband" now! You should be able to do multis with no problem (well, few problems!)
One thing I learned...firewalls do NOT like multis! |

i dont run a firewall. (used to but it got on my nerves) a friend of mine ran a port scan on my system and it only found 1 open port, it was the directx multi gaming port. other than that i was locked up tight ------------------ Get The IronWorks Winamp skin |
