Wolfgir,
that is great to hear, those books really got me into Fantasy novels, and I have since read the whole series, except the newer ones.
Did anyone play the game, betrayel at Krondor? it was based on one of books, or was it that he based one of his books on it? I dont know...
I also read a lot of Pratchet, I really liked the Humour/Action

The kind words and encouragement have been gratefully received...thanks, I'm touched.

Moraine - There are about 2000 odd web pages devoted to Modesty Blaise. This one covers the author, Modesty herself and lists sellers who should hold some books etc -
http://www.cs.umu.se/~kenth/modesty Hope it helps.

Bahamut - Pleased to see you liked FF7. Have you ever seen the REAL ending? Not the one directly after finishing the game, there is another that follows Red XIII, it really is nice. It possibly won't have the same impact now if you've put the game away for a long time but it's still worth watching. You need to let the end credits roll, they take about 5 min's to finish and you can't skip them. When they finish you will see the true final ending of FF7.

Ladyzekke - what you said in another thread regarding this forum, the net etc....Amen to that sister.

Oh dear, there I was thinking I got the hang of the net etc (it's new to me) all proud of meself with my hyperlink prowess and new found single finger typing skills.....it don't work...D'oh. Sorry Moraine I think you'll have to copy and paste. I still can't get the hang of this bloody thing.

Thanks Charlie, I will try it.
I know that a lot of Modesty Blaise Web sites exist, I find lots of these very frustrating for a Frenchy, because people here talk about MB books I have never read at all, and also I have never found one having MB books fr sale and delivering in France.

One last word to you. You have reminded me of a very dark year of my past life. I myself was never on drugs, but I dated once a man who was (heroin it was). I was deeply in love with him, and the worse has been that I have never been able to help him, could less and less reach him at the end. Anyway, I do not master words as our dear Yorick friend does, but suffice it to say that what I feel for you (and for him for his caring answer) is a deep deep respect.

Take care, Charlie

Bastard thing.....I sorted it. A few threats and a little tantrum later.....hey presto I'm a natural born web wizard, that's what I am....(not). Disregard the bit that says it don't work, it do now.

First of all Nabus is a seldom used name for the Devil, but it's also because my nickname is abus [arbus], so it's very close.

Thanks for your offer, Charlie.

I make very well do just that, since I was getting desperate about ever finding MB books !
