Had a great weekend, but wish there was another day to get things done! My hubby and I decided we'd have a 'date night' since we've been so busy and his new work schedule isn't the best for us and we've had to spend most weekends getting chores done or visiting family etc.

Had a great time, went to see Legend of Zorro and then had dinner. Great romantic/silly movie if you haven't seen it!

I think it's good to re-connect with a spouse (significant other or even family/friends) now and then and I'm glad we took time out to do it...it's easy to get into a habit of feeling overwhelmed and NOT take time out for the important things in life.

*thanks Animal and her sig and Bungleau's for reminding her periodically, where priorites should be*

Amen to priorities, Cloudy! I've recently added a new routine to my life... my wife really enjoys Desperate Housewives, and I could give a rip. I've started sitting with her while she watches it... sometimes watching, sometimes reading. Together time does count...

And on the reading side, I'm midway through Harry Potter: Order of the Phoenix. This one is far more of a struggle to read than the previous ones... suppose I'll post something on the Books and Movies board about it.

All I heard about Legend of Zorro was that it was a stupid excuse for a movie. A storyless, two hour long flick full of action sequences that are often too unbelievable to even sound cool.

Anyways, that's just what I read I could view such a movie anytime

Sounds like Elizabethtown (the film, not the place). Except Elizabethtown lacked the action sequences

And to think, I got tricked into going to the cinemas with my girlfriend when I could have stayed home and watched the England match *sigh*

Ack! Will you speak English please!

And yes, I know I'm becoming a grumpy old.. well, alright, young man, but that's all because I'm so friggin' busy with schoolwork, rowing, and everything that comes with the forementioned. That includes female attention, yes, which, surprisingly, is the one thing that actually doesn't make me grumpy.(1)

(1) Provided it's a girl from the hot chick category.

ROTFL! You need to focus on the girl-time a little more, then or we'll be yanking a grouchy, wrinkled old coot of a Link out of the boat next time you row!
